Josiah Bartlett Endorses the President

Here's something sour for Joan Walsh to suck on: former President Josiah Bartlett today endorsed President Barack Obama.

Yes, yes, yes ... Bartlett's the fictitional President with the old-fashioned sounding Northeast Coastal Americana name and the man people like Joan and the Professional Left really wish had really lived so he could have really been in the White House ... like, ya know???? He's even a Lawrence O'Donnell creation!

Well, it seems that Bartlett's alter ego, actor Martin Sheen and his son (the sane one) Emilio Estevez, sat down with HLN's Joy Behar for a bit of a chinwag, during which time, Sheen waxed lyrical about the President. Here's the clip:-

As Politico describes the interview:-

Calling Obama “a very special man,” Sheen said, “I adore him. I think he’s done a great job. I don’t think he’s getting a lot of help, but he’s done a great job.”

Instead of blaming Obama for the struggling economy, Sheen said that corporate America is at fault. “They’re more interested in profits, you know. That’s where the problem lies. It’s corporate America,” he said. “They’re the first ones to complain about big business and regulations, and they’re the first ones to come crawling to them demanding to be rescued.”

Complimenting Obama again later on, Sheen said of the president: “He’s still the only adult in the room, frankly."

Gee, I guess that makes not only Martin Sheen, but also Emilio Estevez, Obamabots too!

That's quite a collection, considering earlier in the year Tom Hanks gave the President a sound endorsement:-

“If you would have told me a few years ago that ‘don't ask, don't tell’ would be repealed and about a billion jobs at General Motors and Chrysler would have been saved because the president was smart enough and strong enough and bold enough to do so, I would have said, 'Wow. That's a good president, I think I'll vote for him again.'”

What an Obamabot moment, eh?

Add to that, George Clooney recently not only praised the President's achievements, but devoted a special moment in an interview to express his total disillusionment with the constant carping criticism of the President by the so-called Professional Left.

Strike-bloody-three!

Just goes to show how much closer to the real world these three national treasures are in their assessment of our President than the faux Coastal concern trolls like Joan Walsh, the closet ratfuckers like Bill Maher and professional contrarian hypocrites like Michael Moore. I suppose Ed Murrow wannabe Keith Olbermann must be chewing nails and pissing rust at the thought that the man who produced a film about his broadcasting idol has just joined the ranks of so-called "dumbest motherfuckers in the world."

It's totally emblematic that Sheen, a professional from an industry where shallowness reigns supreme should recognise at once that our President is no friend of either corporatists or corporations, whilst Joan Walsh, who operates in an industry which produced the likes of Ed Murrow and Bill Moyers, should, in her latest blog, go out of her way to refer to President Obama as "our half-white corporatist centrist President."

Yes, the President is certainly the only adult in the room, and Joan is a living embodiment of racism, bigotry and bitchery knowing no political boundaries.
