Two Political Bimbos Gossip about a Third Political Bimbo

Richard Wolffe got gagged with a spoon today when he found himself on a discussion panel hosted by MSNBC's resident bimbo political pundit Alex Wagner, which also included newest nepotistic signing and fellow bimbo political analyst Meghan McCain.

They were discussing McCain's starfuckworthy interview with her new heroine and BFF, Michelle Bachmann. McCain, who doesn't know anything about history because she wasn't there, is a fine example of how money can buy the dimmest mind a place at an Ivy League university. McCain got a degree from Columbia and fancies herself a writer, but still says "more smarter."

Alex Wagner treated the whole thing like it was, ya know, a girl thang ... specifically a gossip girl event. Two cosy, affluent, inarticulate women with Daddy's chequebook klatched with coffee to talk about the newest pair of Louboutins on sale at Saks, with a little bit of yak thron in about Michelle Bachmann along the way.

And it's so nice to know Meghan McCain cares so much, as a Republican woman, about candidates' family values. Herman Cain's and Newt Gingrich's infidelities bother her. I wonder if it bothers her that her father dumped his disabled first wife and their three children for her mother, a woman seventeen years younger than he?

Here's the video of the panel discussion. I can't really say anything more about it, other than the fact that if Alex Wagner and Meghan McCain are the future of MSNBC and political broadcasting, then we've passed rock bottom and are hurling towards the flaming abyss known as political hell.

And if you close your eyes and listen to this, you actually find that McCain, Wagner and Bachmann all have the same voice. They all have that same, flat, sing-songy-every-sentence-is-a-question Valley Girl Voice.

I want to scream.

MSNBC ... where the "N" might stand for "nepotism," but the "B" stands for "Bimbo."
